The common sayings now are "get out your feelings" or "I'm in my feelings". What is that? See we use these phrases so often that it becomes us. Feelings are temporary and most of the time based off whatever you are experiencing at the moment. When you wake up in the morning and get nicely dressed for work and take your time you are feeling happy and complete. Next moment you get in your car and there was an accident which will make you late, now you are frustrated and have road rage. Rush into your job, clock in, have your cup of Joe and now you are back on track with your good feelings. Within 3 hours you have flip flopped based on yourself and outside factors. This shows that YOU have control over your feelings and how you shouldn't let the bad or outside things overtake you. Don't let your those moments make you curse but instead find some good in it all like being thankful it wasn't you dealing with the flat tire or car accident that made you late. Feelings make us do some jacked up things and then after we do it we can't believe we actually did it. The next time the feelings get the best of you, sing one of my favorite songs by Maze and Frankie Beverly "Happy Feelings in the Air". It's so soulful and will bring you back to reality and to a positive place.
